Your two buildings

This is what decides whether a move goes smoothly. Your property manager will ask us all of it.

Dates and delivery window

Crates arrive two to three days before move day so people can pack around their work.

Plenty of buildings forbid daytime freight moves. If yours does, this isn't optional — pick it here and we'll crew for it.
Labels are reusable and come back with the crates. Send us a desk map for the new floor and crates arrive at the right desk instead of in a pile.

Company and compliance

The certificate of insurance is the single thing most likely to stop a move at the loading dock. Better to sort it now than during your move week.

Payment is by card. If your finance team needs a PO on the receipt, put it here and it'll be on there. Need actual terms? Say so below and let's talk.

Review

Check it over, then we'll take you to payment.

Four packages, priced by headcount

Same crate as our residential moves. Document-heavy offices — legal, accounting, medical, title — should size up one package; files fill crates faster than desks do.

How an office move runs

Different from a house. Your team packs their own desks, over days, while still working.

Step 1

Walkthrough call

Fifteen minutes on floors, elevators, dock access and what your building requires from a vendor.

Step 2

Crates arrive early

Delivered to your floor two to three days ahead and stacked out of the way. After-hours if the building requires it.

Step 3

Everyone packs their own desk

Label on the crate, crate to the new desk. No tape, no assembly, no boxes on the floor.

Step 4

We collect after unpack

Pickup from the new address once your team has settled. Need another week? Tell us before pickup day.

The part nobody else asks about

An office move fails at the loading dock, not at the box. We ask all of this before you pay, because your property manager is going to ask us too.

Certificate of insurance

Most Class A and B buildings want $1M / $2M naming the owner and property manager as additional insured before a vendor touches the freight elevator. Tell us the certificate holder and we issue it.

Freight elevator

We ask whether yours needs a reservation and work to the window your building gives you, rather than turning up and finding out.

Dock, street or garage

Changes the truck, the number of trips and the hours we're allowed to work. Asked up front, not discovered on the day.

After-hours & weekends

Plenty of buildings forbid daytime freight moves outright. Evening and Saturday delivery is a $150 flat add-on.

Purchase orders

Payment is by card, and we'll put your PO number on the receipt so it reconciles cleanly. We don't offer Net-30 yet — if your finance team can't work that way, tell us and we'll sort something out rather than pretend.

Labels by desk

Reusable colour-coded labels included — department, then destination desk. Crates get wheeled to the right desk instead of stacked in a lobby. Labels come back with the crates.

Cardboard costs you hours, not dollars

For an office the arithmetic isn't price per box. It's how long your team isn't working.

Questions offices ask

How many crates per person?

About six for a general office — five for desks plus one for shared space like the file room and kitchen. Document-heavy offices run eight to ten. Mostly-laptop teams need three or four. The estimator above does this for you.

Can you issue a COI for our building?

Yes. Tell us the certificate holder wording your building sent you and we'll have it issued before the crates arrive.

What if the move slips a week?

Tell us before pickup day and we extend at the published weekly rate. Moves slip; it isn't a problem unless nobody says anything.

Do you handle servers and IT gear?

Not yet — we don't stock foam-lined IT crates, and we'd rather say so than improvise with your server. Everything else on the floor, yes.

Can we be invoiced instead of paying by card?

Not yet — we're card-only for now. You can add a PO number and we'll put it on the receipt. If your finance team genuinely can't pay by card, call us and we'll work it out case by case rather than leave you stuck.

Do you deliver outside business hours?

Evenings and weekends, $150 flat. Say so up front — many buildings won't permit a freight move any other way.

Tell us the headcount and the move date.

Twenty people or fewer, book it right now. Larger than that, we confirm the fleet and send a quote the next business day.
